Hi I'm Maggie! Founder of SLPwithMaggie. I am a bilingual, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist (SLP), currently practicing in Chicago, Illinois. I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders in English and Spanish.

Initial Consultation
Please fill out the contact form and I will reach out within three business days to schedule a free phone consultation. During the initial consultation, we will discuss your child's communication skills and determine whether
an evaluation and therapy services may be beneficial. This is also where we can discuss scheduling, pricing, and any other questions you have.

Comprehensive Evaluation
Evaluations take place virtually or in-person. The evaluation will include a comprehensive assessment of your child's current communication skills to develop an individualized plan of care including frequency of treatment and personalized goals. If your child has been evaluated within the past year, I can use that to begin therapy sessions right away.

Speech-Language Therapy
I provide individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and designed with your child's needs and interests in mind. Sessions will occur virtually or in my home office, located in Bucktown, Chicago. Therapy sessions are offered during the summer months. This practice is dedicated to helping children continue their practice and goals over break.

Why work with Maggie Rapp, MA, CCC-SLP?
I am passionate about improving communication skills through fun and engaging therapy sessions that incorporate a child's interests while targeting their goals. I use a collaborative approach with each family, so that we can work together to ensure that the progress made in therapy is carried over into daily life.
Where do services take place?
Currently, SLPwithMaggie services are being offered virtually or in my home office, located in Bucktown, Chicago. Services may be offered in a client's home on a case by case basis.
How does scheduling work?
At this time, I am offering services during the summer months (June-September). I work full-time as a school-based SLP, and this practice is dedicated to helping children continue their practice and goals over the summer break. Think of it like summer camp for communication skills!
How long do therapy sessions last?
My speech-language therapy sessions typically last 45 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes at the end of each session to discuss home practice. Frequency and length of sessions may be tailored to better suit a child's age and unique needs.
Do you take insurance?
SLPwithMaggie is an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies and currently accepts private payment only. Upon request, a detailed receipt (Superbill) can be provided for all services and contains all necessary information for families to submit to insurance for (possible) reimbursement and/or credit toward a deductible.
